For those who have been holding out for a duo core netbook, asus has answered your wish.
For those who have been waiting to get a new laptop for school, but don't know what to get,and don't have much money. This is your answer.
I hope this will help to resolve those multiple "What laptop should I get", types of posts.
Don't want to spend 800 to 1000+ dollars on a laptop?
Want to remain under the 3.5lb threshhold?
Want one that lasts over 5hours on a single charge?
Can't stand a solo core that netbooks have been sporting?

it's a good netbook to be honest :)
The only downside is the 5 hour battery, which isn't much different from today's laptops. But it's really a personal choice. I like that it has a full sized keyboard (any sighted users who could see if that includes a home/end/pageup/pagedown key?), and the n330 is a nettop CPU which is widely used. I think it really depends on you: Do you want a netbook for it's battery life (11 hours while surfing) or for it's performance (duo core means better performance since two cores exist). It's really up to you. The hdd is also 250 GB which is what I ahve in my Toshiba :)
Speaking of Toshiba, the nb305 is also new on the market, and features the new n450 CPUs. I'll write a review about all this soon.
I feel like the line between netbooks and laptops is blurring. This is, essentially, a low end 12-inch laptop, with a fairly lousy processor (for laptops) but also $200 to $400 cheaper than the higher end dual core 12-inch ones like the Thinkpad X200, for instance.
I liked the netbook for what it was/is, lower end computer in the $300 to max $400 range that allows you to do 95 to 98% of your every day things with a very good battery life.
BBC predicted the days of the netbook are numbered due to competition from cell phones and EBook readers. I am not so sure, people have always claimed the netbook was not a viable business idea and, despite that, they were the biggest technology phenominon lat year and have shipped by the millions.
